This duo relies on the possibilities of polyphony, focus enhancement and partial unpredictability given by the usage of a set of audiotrack+instructions instead of a performing written score. The two performers are presented with a sonic universe they have to react to according to the given instructions and the whispers they listenthrough the speakers together with their material. From the audience point of view, the lack of score clashes with a strictly timed and engaging performance, delivered by the two fully-focused interpreters.

The piece was (very successfully) workshopped by Vincent Hepp and Marie Schmit as members of the Manufaktur Ensemble in a reading session at Mixtur Festival 2016 (Barcelona). More research to come.

«Shadow, Echo, Transcription» fue exitosamente trabajada con Vincent Hepp y Marie Schmit, del ensemble Manufaktur für Aktuelle Musik, durante el festival Mixtur 2016 en Barcelona.

Su atractivo reside en no emplear partitura escrita, lo que estimula la concentración y la imaginación de los intérpretes, a la vez que trabaja de forma específica su sincronía. Desde el punto de vista del público, el hecho de observar la ejecución de una obra audiblemente compleja, aparentemente memorizada o aparentemente improvisada y sin embargo perfectamente sincronizada, constituye una experiencia estimulante y casi misteriosa, de por sí.
