2014 – 5′ – live calligrapher and cello

 

An impromptu-experiment piece, it deals with calligraphic gesture as its basic material, subject to a number of parametric manipulation. Performed at Gaudeamus Muziekdagen 2014 with Violeta González on the cello and myself as amplified calligrapher. The piece takes a new direction into musical-calligraphic notation, in which the parts themselves (there is no full score) are «anotated text» where the traditional notation takes place in a very marginal way.
